1. Data controller

Basilio Mijailidis (the "Controller"), with an address for notices at Av. Paseo de las Palmas 340, Suite 100, Lomas de Chapultepec, C.P. 11000, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, is responsible for the processing of the personal data collected through mijailidis.com, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and other applicable regulations.

2. Data collected

  • Newsletter and free guides: email address.
  • Contact form: name, email address, reason for contact and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and date and time of access, automatically logged by the server.

No sensitive personal data or financial data is collected. Course payments are made on the Colegio Trading website, which has its own privacy notice.

3. How it is used

Necessary purposes:

  • Sending you the newsletter and the guides you request, after you confirm your email.
  • Answering your messages and requests for talks, workshops, interviews or courses.
  • Keeping the website secure and working.

Secondary purposes:

  • Letting you know when a new course or workshop opens.

If you don't want your data used for secondary purposes, write to contacto@mijailidis.com.

4. Who it is shared with

Your data is not sold or transferred to third parties. It may be processed by providers that render services to the Controller, such as website hosting (InMotion Hosting, with servers in the United States) and email delivery ([email delivery service]), solely for the purposes described and under a duty of confidentiality.

5. Your ARCO rights

You may Access your data, Rectify it, Cancel it or Oppose its use (ARCO rights), and revoke your consent. To do so, send an email to contacto@mijailidis.com including:

  • Your name and a way to reply to you.
  • A document proving your identity or, where applicable, that of your representative.
  • A clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise.

You will receive a reply within a maximum of 20 business days from receipt of your complete request.

To stop receiving the newsletter, just use the "unsubscribe" link included in every email.

6. Cookies and external services

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address.

7. Changes to this notice

Any change to this privacy notice will be published on this same page, with its update date.

8. Authority

If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may contact the competent Mexican authority, currently the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance).
